The new Washington-Cambridge Street apartment complex that is being built as I write this will have the highest concentration of people in a small area than anywhere in Abbeville.
It has the potential to become a breeding ground for the COVID-19 virus that could spread throughout the city.
Have members of city council, who approved that complex in executive session, and despite the disapproval of the majority of the city's inhabitants, considered that possibility?
And if they haven't, why aren't they now considering ways to put a stop to that potentially lethal complex?
And, if such a pandemic does occur in Abbeville, would the City be liable for all the lawsuits of citizens that would follow?
